Obituary of Ann Patricia Landry

LANDRY, Ann Patricia, 80 of Petit de Grat It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Patricia Landry of Petit de Grat that passed away on September 11, 2021, at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish after a long battle with cancer. Born on June 27, 1941, in Glace Bay, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Ronald Joseph and Mary Lillian (McNamara) Dobbin. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Anthony “Tony” Landry; daughters Margaret (Stephen), Theresa; grandchildren Bradley, Cody, Dylan, Samantha, Dalton, and Melissa; sisters Mary, Diane, Margie, Carmel, Jean, Paula, and their families; several nieces, nephews, friends, as well as her extended family Bettie, Doug and Vivian. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Danny, Ron, Chuck; sister Valerie; sister-in-law Martha and brother-in-law Neil, Allan, Pat(Sylvia), Garvey(Carmella). There will be no visitation per request. A funeral mass will take place on October 4th, at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 2pm with Rev. John DeCoste officiating. Committal to follow at Acadiaville Columbarium in West Arichat. The family would like to thank Dr. Cooper, and staff of the Strait Richmond Hospital, St. Martha’s Regional Hospital and St. Anne’s Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat or Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society, Evanston. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H.
