Uncle Benny, Cindy, Mike, Jennifer, Trevor, Ashley & Scott….my heart truly breaks for all of you on the loss of a dear daughter, sister & aunt. She was also a loved niece, cousin and friend. Truly a living Angel on earth. When we lived at Grandma’s from 1971-1972 I spent a lot of my time across the street at Uncle Benny’s and spending time playing with Stephanie as she always had a special place in my heart. I would sit and watch Another World with Aunt Alice and Stephanie was in her playpen never complaining. Rest peacefully beautiful cousin reunited with her Mom. Uncle Benny you have been on my mind and thinking about you, you were always my second Dad when you were living with us in Toronto. It is with a heavy heart I write this note to express my sincere condolences for your devastating loss. Although we all grow up and sometimes move away from our birth place, we never forget those who are included in the memories of our past. I will never forget Stephanie's infectious smile and as I write this - her sweet face is etched in my memory. For some, life is too short - and it just doesn't seem fair. For those left behind ... it is our job to ensure they are never forgotten.

May you all find the strength to get through this difficult time as the days ahead will be very sad indeed. Please know that others care deeply and although the distance may divide us - our thoughts and prayers will serve to bring us together.

Dear Bennie, Cindy, Jennifer & Family

We were absolutely heartbroken to hear of the passing of Stephanie. Me and Stephanie got much closer after the passing of her mother, and I'm so grateful that we did. I cherished our friendship very much, enjoyed our hour long phone chats and we always checked in with one another via text. She may have been quiet, but she was a very strong person who always had a bright outlook in life no matter what health issues life may have come her way. Our friendship was even more special to me because we could both relate to one another so well with regards to having health issues. I'm so glad that I was in contact with her via text and phone before her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bennie and the family. Stephanie, we will miss you so very much!
