Condolences
Our deepest sympathies to “Madame Eva’s” (as she was known to us) families. She was a remarkable woman. I remember many days spent at her home when visiting with Michelle. Fresh baked goods always. She lived a full life. Madame Eva will be missed by many, may she Rest In Peace in Jesus’ loving arms!!

sorry for your loss my condolence to the family of eva remembering lot of my child hood days visiting eva,s home and her and her parents visiting us in river bourgeois , she was a great lady always smiling thought of her often , being away from home for so long we seem to loose touch , my thoughts and prayers are with you all
We want to express our sympathy to all of Aunt Eva's children and their families, and her remaining siblings. We were so looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday in May. It warms our hearts to think of the much greater celebration in heaven that Aunt Eva will have experienced when she passed away. Meeting Jesus face to face and seeing all the ones who have gone before her .... what more could we want for her, as sad as it is for all of us left behind? You should all be so proud of the example that she was of humility and service, and how gracious she always was. COVID has robbed many people of the comfort of gathering to honour loved ones, and this is no exception. There is no Church building on Isle Madame that would have been large enough to accommodate all the people who would have wanted to pay their respects in person to Aunt Eva ... she did so much for so many people. We are with all of you in spirit today, as she is laid to rest. Gob bless you all!
Love,
Connie and Laurie
We want to express our deeply felt sympathy to the family. We have appreciated to have known Mrs. Eva so much and we are happy that we had had a chance to meet her last summer when we were in Nova Scotia. She was very kind and special and will be missed. But her old age made life difficult for her at last. May she rest in peace in the presence of her saviour.Helga and Herbert from Germany.

Sincere condolences are extended to Pauline, Marcel, Laurier, Michelle, Yvon, André and your extended families, my mother Edith, Aunt Delia, Aunt Etta, Uncle Vénère and Uncle Bernard!
Aunt Eva was a remarkable woman. She was the epidemy of what it means to be Christian. She accepted life as it was presented to her, had a profound appreciation for nature, loved everyone without judgement, shared everything that she had be it food or talent and had an unwavering faith. She did everything with the utmost joy, always with a grateful heart and a pleasant smile! She will be missed and remembered with the fondest of memories! She has earned her rest, may her spirit live on in all of us and guide us to live a life of joy and gratitude as she so lovingly did.
My sympathies to all of you. I have pleasant memories of Mémé’s beautiful, smiling face; I’m sure she will be much missed by the family and community
To the entire family,
I spent many days as a youngster with André at the homestead behind the parish hall so I got to know Eva very well. There are countless words I could use to describe her. Eva was simply the salt of the earth. Her kindness, patience, compassion, kindheartedness, etc. I could go on and on. Eva was simply one of the most remarkable human beings I have ever met. She would never complain, criticize or demean anyone. Eva accepted whatever came her way and knew that her faith would ensure that tomorrow would be a better day. The family should be so proud that they got to spend so much time with such a fine and remarkable woman. You must all have quite a number of fond stories that will last a lifetime ! Cherish her memory and always keep her spirit close to you !
Mes plus sincères condoléances à toute la famille !
Condolences to all the family, from Palmire and John.

Sincerest condolences,
Kayleigh.
To Michelle and the whole family and friends, my sincere condolences for the lost of a dear person. I can still remember staying over with Michelle as we went to school, Eva always made me feel welcome and would always make sure I was fed before leaving. Her smile and hugs were always welcomed and she will be missed.
I have many memories of aunt Eva and will cherish them all. May she rest in peace.
My only regret is that I didn't go visit last time I was down, I was scared she would ask about mom, I share your sorrow. All my love Darlene
