Condolences
Claire was one of my absolute favourite substitute teachers from my days at SAERC circa 2001-2002. I remember she had a wonderful disposition and sense of humour that went a long way with my French immersion classmates and I who hoped Madame Samson would be at the head of the class whenever a sub teacher was expected in. I recall she had a remarkably fun and upbeat way of interacting with those that may have been disruptive (often myself!). Sometimes teachers leave lasting impacts on you; I only had Madame Samson as a teacher a handful of times but still think of her with a smile. Merci pour tout, Madame.
Joey and family,
So sorry for your mom / grandma. My sincere condolences. Your mom always made people feel comfortable. Always enjoyed seeing her, always a good time. I didn't get to spend as much time with her as I would have liked to, but living in Ottawa made it difficult, but all the time spent with her are good memories.

Joey and family,
I was so sad to hear about your mom. My deepest condolences to all. I always enjoyed working with her when she was in.
I was privileged enough to do my BEd with Claire. We shared a few projects and was and will always be remembered for her amazing personality and dedication to pursue her dream. Many of the graduates of the BEd class will remember her theatrics and sense of humor! One project most will remember is the persona she took on and announced proudly that “we could call her SAM”. Rest easy dear Claire, it was a pleasure being your classmate!
