Kay had a wondrous combination of sharp wit and insight, a huge heart, and unending generousity. My best memories are filling the kitchen with holiday cookies together, laughing and enjoying our shared love of baking. She tutored me in the art of oatcakes, but rolls were her specialty. Despite the long distance between us, I always felt her love. I’ll so miss her humour, her caring, her special warmth.

May she Rest in Peace and have the last laugh. That is what I remember most about Catherine, how she would make my Mom and Dad laugh when they talked on the phone over the years and couldn't see each other in person. You couldn't help but smile when you talked with her and what a lovely memory to have... Our condolences to her family.

She was a lovely lady who booked no bull sh*t and was always ready with a story. Learned how to make pie crust at her hands which is appreciated by all who benefit from those lessons. She was a generous soul who made welcome one and all into her home and heart. My condolences to the family. Hard as it is to see her leaving, she lead a wonderous life and leaves back memories that will last.
