Condolences
Condolences to the Samson Family on Elaine's passing. I have good memories of our days together at Centennial Elementary in Port Hawkesbury.
Sincere condolences to Elaine's family and extended Samson family on the occasion of her passing. We will miss bumping into her on summer evenings in Antigonish, and we are sure that her influence as a teacher has extended far beyond the corridors and classrooms over the years. May she rest in peace, hugs to all of you as you face the 'firsts' without her in the year ahead.
Melissa & Brian Boudreau, Antigonish.
My condolences to the family. Although, I did not know her personally, she played an instrumental rôle in the life of a family member of mine, Catisha Scanlan. I have always heard good things about her. May she Rest in Peace. Lorena Landry, Arichat.
My sincere condolences Elaine and I taught together at Centennial Elementary and became friends. I met her a few months ago and she told me she was ill.She was a great teacher she will be dearly missed .
Elaine was indeed a Special Lady And A Dear Friend...
We met Dave and Elaine as Seasonal Campers at Whiddens in Antigonish many years ago.
Together they made The Perfect Couple. Their love for each other was quite obvious. As was their love for Camping.
When Dave passed away four years ago we were all devastated. We wondered if Elaine would return that following summer knowing that it would be a difficult decision for her to make. However, with love and encouragement from both her family and friends we were all overjoyed in June to see Jason pull through the gates with both the Cedar Creek and Elaine in tow.
She continued to enjoy Camping Life to the fullest returning each summer.
She loved accumulating her 10,000 daily steps around our little Town, chatting with her neighbor's, sitting around a campfire, watching her favorite TV Soaps, discovering a new recipe, and making a fashion statement each time she walked
down our Lane. Such a Classy Lady.
Elaine loved keeping up with all the Park news. Even if it meant rushing down the Lane in her P.J.'s and bathrobe.(an elegant one of course) after seeing a few of us gather from her trailer window and say "I didn't want to miss out on anything!"
Elaine bravely faced her ALS Battle with great Strength, Grace, Positivity, and Determination..
She truly was an inspiration to us all while facing each and every day with such Spirit and Courage.
Elaine...We will miss you Beyond Words

To Elaine’s Family
Our deepest sympathy to Elaine’s family. We felt very privileged to have been a small part of Elaine’s life along with her family. She will be so missed by her Campground friends and it just won’t be the same without her. We have lost a beautiful lady and an incredible woman. How awesome was it that she spent her last summer with her friends and family at the campground. Amazing.
Love from Celena and Kevin
My deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your beautiful Mother, it was a pleasure to care for her on the few occasions that I did… She was always so inviting and always had a beautiful smile… May she forever Rest In Paradise
Elaine was a true educator. I admired her strength and fortitude in setting up a Lesrning Centre for children, even after she retired . I will never forget sitting down with Elaine talking about the " good old days" a few years ago. We laughed so hard . We both enjoyed that talk so much.
Thinking of you all and sincere condolences. I'm sure Elaine's life was wonderful and gratifying, as she had so much live from her beautiful family and friends.
Very sorry to hear about Elaine's passing, she was a wonderful human being and will be greatly missed. Love to all the family at this difficult time and to everyone she knew.
Our deepest condolences to the Samson family .. Elaine s presence will live on in your hearts and souls.. RIP Elaine ..
