Condolences
Sending love and light to you all. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always have fond memories of my visits with "Grandad" in Louisdale. xoxo
Dear Yvonne and Family, Dorothy, Ronnie, Jeffrey and Families: We knew that Alan was seriously ill, but even so we were all saddened to hear of his passing; especially Mum/"Auntie" Joan who is so very fond of all of "Uncle" George and "Auntie" Erleens' "kids"! The years that I spent around Alan were all too short (basically only 1950-1956); but I remember him as a gentle, kindly young man who his parents and siblings were very proud of. Alan was always a Good son and Idolised brother and Friend; later I learnt that he had also grown to be a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a true gentleman, widely respected and liked. Alan will be sorely missed by the Joan and Frank Mayers Family; among so many others! May God give you all the strength you need to endure your great loss, and to recover gently during the difficult days ahead! God Bless, Rich (for Joanie, Richard, Helen, Andrew, Ann, Wendy; and Heather) Mayers

Erleen Paul and The Fields Family, My Sincere Condolences at this difficult time.May Allan Rest In Peace. One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, is when I carried you."
