I was so saddened to learn of Rose's death and send my sincere sympathy. Rose and I worked together at the Wolfville Nursing home--at times under difficult circumstances. I enjoyed her humor and positive outlook on life. When I think of Rose I see her as an organized, dedicated, capable, dependable person and she was the same as a night supervisor. As director of nursing I always knew that when Rose was on, whatever happened would be taken care of in a responsible, efficient manner. She was a person I could count on. She was alot of fun. We will always remember Rose's visits with Earl and Shannon to North Sydney to visit our Mom, and to show off her wonderful grandchildren, Sebastian and Aislin. We enjoyed the conversations and the many stories of your family. We also remember how generous Rose and Earl were at Michael and Shannon's wedding and reception, especially to the young people who were invited to sleep in the loft of the new barn.
