Obituary of Joseph Maxwell Pardy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing, of Joseph Maxwell "Max" Pardy, 83 - of St. Peter's, formerly of Little Anse that occurred at his residence at the Richmond Villa in St. Peters on September 12, 2014. Born in Jacques Fontaine, NL. he was the son of the late Joseph and Stella (Johnson) Pardy. He is survived by his daughters, Alvina Samson, (Calvin), Jacqueline Jollymore, both of Little Anse; sons, Tracy (Cathy), Barry, ON, Kevin (Jennie), Arichat; grandchildren, James, Ashley, Danielle, Cody, Santanna and Kattie; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Pierce; sister, Florence Harris, Jacques Fontaine, NL; he is also survived by his son-in-law Herman Jollymore, Petit De Grat. Max was predeceased by his wife, Mary Muriel (Landry) Pardy; brothers, Clayton, Joe and Gordon; sisters, Sarah and Winnie. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning September 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Petit De Grat with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit De Grat.Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society (NS), Richmond Villa Recreation Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society (NS).
