Obituary of Jolene Anne Mury

Mury, Jolene Anne, 32 - Arichat, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2009 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of Robert and Claire (Landry) Samson, Arichat. Jolene graduated from I.M.D.H. in Arichat. She received her BA and B.ED from St. F.X. University in Antigonish. She worked with the Literacy in D'Escousse for a year. She was also a substitute Teacher with the Strait Regional School Board for 3 years. She was presently employed with the CSAP and was a teacher at Ecole Beau Port in Arichat. Jolene loved her job, she was admired by her students and fellow workers as well. She will, be sadly missed by her many friends and anyone who had the opportunity to have known her. Jolene touched many hearts. Besides her parents, she is survived by her two darling sons, Wyatt and Rafe, at home; step-son Avery Delorey, Edmonton; brother, Joey (Krista) and their children, Ben and Emily; maternal grandmother Alfreda Landry, Arichat; husband Lawrence; brother-in-law Wayne Mury; mother-in-law Lily Jane Boudreau, all of Arichat; father-in-law Benny Mury, West Arichat; numerous aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Wilfred Landry and paternal grandparents Joseph and Constance Samson also great aunt, Gizelle Boudreau and great uncle, Isidore Boudreau. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Memorial Service, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Rev. Duaine Devereaux, officiating, Internment of ashes will follow in the Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made to the Education Fund set up at St. Joseph's Credit Union in Petit De Grat for Wyatt and Rafe Mury or at the funeral home in Arichat.
