we will miss you ma love you , you will be with george now love and miss you both
Mom loved to knit, quilt and play cards. She especially loved to win at cards and have lots of laughs while doing it. The best part was when she won, she never said "Bingo". She would say anything but bingo, most times she would say " Chan" which was french for there. Made us all laugh and she'd laugh really hard too, brought tears to our eyes. Especially when she misunderstood what someone said, which was often. She loved to knit and quilt, many many people have at least one pair of her knitted socks and a few have a quilt that she has worked on.
She will be missed by many. She had many penpals and a very special niece, Arlene, whom she loved dearly.
Deepest condolences to Lawrence, Brenda, Patty and all your families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. We are here for you if you need us. May Gladys Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathy to Gladys' family. I had the privilege to get to know her when she was living with Grandma and her brother Elmer in Antigonish and even more so when her and Grandma lived here in River Bourgeois, just walking distance from me. My boys and I just loved her, she was more like a family member than just a friend. The boys loved going to see Gladys, she always sounded like she was yelling at them to give her a hug or a kiss, and they would just laugh at her and then run to her. Always lots of hugs and kisses. She was a great woman, and I have many fond memories of her, I feel very blesses to have had the chance to get to know her. I was very sad when I found out that she had passed before I got over to see her. We will always love her! Love to her whole family, from Ella's granddaughter and family. Tasha, Tom and boys
